Hi, I’m Nicki.

I’m an Australian author writing humorous short stories, memoir, and a Christian fantasy novel about an ordinary woman called to do extraordinary things. In 2026 my story Uber Nan was shortlisted for the Furphy Literary Award.

I write from the Bellarine, where I share my days with two opinionated cairn terriers and a God who keeps proving He is more interested in shaping my character than satisfying my tastes. I believe words hold life, that a cheerful heart is good medicine, and that writing can be a form of worship.
