The Call to Extraordinary Things

Friend, you and I are not called to live a life that is ordinary. Our God is supernatural—He’s the Alpha and Omega; the Author and Finisher of our faith; He is Yahweh; Elohim; Adonai; Omipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent. Words cannot really describe Him, but we know that He is love, holy, righteous, merciful, gracious and just. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit—three persons in one. Our God made the heavens and the earth and yet Psalm 8:3-5 tells us, ‘When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honour.’ (NIV) This is the God we worship, no cardboard cutouts here! We are called to this grand adventure called life. And with God in the picture, it is going to be good.
